Sweetie's I love you

Haha... people around me may hear me complaining about my little Sweetie, but deep down in my heart, mummy actually loves this Sweetie very much. Cos' this little Sweetie can be such an angel at times and can simply melt my "iron" heart.

Watch her profess her love for me, arrgh.... see how not to love her very much... :)

Till date, this darling is still not fully potty-trained yet (haha... cos' mummy has not been consistent in potty-training her). In some way, mummy is glad too cos' it's actually more tiring for mummy to have to bring her to the toilet bowl whenever she wants to pee/poo... do you know that I got to handle 2 babies plus 1 big baby aka daddy).

Nevertheless, this little darling will pee in the toilet bowl whenever mummy remembers to let her sit on the toilet bowl. Now she only uses 1 pampers per day, which is quite a success overall.

It's time this Sweetie has her own youtube account. See how much she has grown.

Mummy loves you, Sweetie.

Defence lines

Lately, my babies are getting more "defensive"

Hee... I mean they love building defence lines, with practically anything that they could use to build a wall. No matter how many times mummy "ordered" the defence lines to be broken, a new one will be built again.

Haha..., now the tins have come handy again for their wall building. So mummies, if you have any formula milk tins, don't throw them away. It's a "treasure" to the kids.

Here's another recommendation by my Sweetie:
the small tin can be used as a footstool while sitting on the big tin.

39-month old Cutie with Country Flags

We were in Seoul for a 3-day group tour last week. One of the places we went to is the War Memorial of Korea.

See how she scores when her Daddy tested her on the various country flags.

You can see her eagerness to find out about the flag of India (at 00:32 seconds, she even asked "what is this country?", but haha... was being ignored by her Daddy). Poor Cutie.

Everland (4) - Ball House

The Ball House at Everland is a fun place which kids will love. See my Cutie acting like a instructress guiding her Daddy how to aim and fire. She's constantly moving from her post to Daddy's to "check" on him.

She's also very smart to quickly pick up the soft balls that were shot over by someone over the other side, so that she won't run out of "ammo". So cute.

Everland (3) - Car Rides

If you want to go to Everland and your kids love car rides, here's my recommendation - go on a rainy day.

Yes, cos' there will be no traffic jams and the crowd are lesser. There are practically no waiting time at each attraction, a big contrast from the usually long queue which requires at least 20 minutes of waiting time. Guess we were lucky too that it didn't rain at all that day.

As there's practically no queue, my Cutie got a chance to ride on this kiddy car (there's usually a long queue for this attraction). Guess how many rides my Cutie had that day.

1st ride (car number 3) - Look at her teary eyes when Daddy moved away.

2nd ride (car number 5) - a "I-love-this" look

3rd rde (car number 6) - a "phototaking again" look

4th ride (car numbr 1) - a "I-can't-see-you" look

5th ride (number 15) - "wow, I'm-having-great-fun" look

See the great contrast from her first ride (teary eyes). Haha... here's the Spicy Girl waving at her "fans".

Spicy Girls

Here presenting to you - the Spicy Girls (note: not the once popular Spice Girls tho').

The other day, Daddy cooked some ramen for supper. Surprisingly, my darlings wanted to eat it too. In addition, they drank the soup and said they love spicy noodles.

Wow, it really caught mummy by surprise that these 2 babies love ramen. Guess what, the only thot on mummy's mind then was ... ... "there goes my chilli crabs". (Haha.... you see, my darlings couldn't take spicy stuff in the past, the chilli crab is the only yummy food that mummy gets to enjoy every bit of it).

So mummy cooked our Singapore laksa (yummy, yummy, oops forgot to add the hard-boiled eggs for the picture). And... ...
my babies love it too.

Well, guess my darlings have grown up and they know they are going to miss a lot of delicious stuff if they cannot take spicy stuff.

*Sigh* ... my chilli crabs.... *sigh*
(guess will have to ask the cook to add more spicy chilli into the chilli crabs, hee...)

4-wheel Drive for 4

Went to a performance near the Hanbat Park, so after that, we decided to have some fun at the wheel.
Mummy's been eyeing this four-wheel car everytime we come here, as it's big enough to accomodate an adult and a child. So we rented 2 and we had a lot of fun driving around the big place, especially the other end of the park where we didn't venture as it would be too far to walk (hee... or rather to carry when the 2 little ones get tired).

My Cutie was enjoying the ride so much that after a while, she just simply sit back and relax onto her daddy. What a lucky lass.

Golfy Creation

Recently, Daddy is into golf and yes, so is my Cutie! Here's a picture of her after some "training" from the "master". When it's time to keep her toys, mummy was amused to find her golf set placed next to her daddy's instead of the usual place, haha...

Well, to any adult, the toy is just a golf set.

But guess what, the golf clubs are also my darlings'
1) microphones;
2) guns;
3) umbrellas;
4) ski poles;
5) a useful tool (to dig for toys that roll under the sofa);
The golf balls have also become their eggs or ice-cream when they are "cooking" and the golf bag (with wheels) becomes a stroller for them to push their "babies" around the house.
(Gee... so you see, buying 1 toy for them is equivalent to buying 5 or more toys for them, ie. cost-saving).

The picture on left shows her in full gear for "skiing". She's wearing her favourite boots and on her hands were mummy's gloves (which have somehow become their "toys" too).

Happy June

Can't believe that first half of the year has passed already.

The month of June had swept by quickly, with many celebrations - Daddy/Mummy's 8th wedding anniversary, Fathers' Day, Sweetie's birthday etc.

On our wedding anniversary, we went to TGIFriday in Daejeon for a family meal (strongly recommend this place with nice food, nice ambience and a big play area for kids). See my other blog for picture and review.

Talking about Fathers' Day, here's a card that we had made for Daddy.

My darlings had a lot of fun pasting the stickers onto the card. Mummy held their hands and wrote the words for their Daddy (fyi, the "9" is specially written in Korean style). Then we switched off the light when Daddy came home so that the luminous stickers can be seen. Can you believe how excited they were? It's great being with kids, where you can just immerse in their simple joy.

Here's the card that they had made for mummy on Mothers' Day.
It's a treasured item for Mummy as it records the current size of my darlings' hands, with their scribbles on it too. Very precious, right?

(For information, the Korean don't celebrate Fathers' Day, they only celebrate Parents' Day which falls on the same day as Mothers' Day).

Gee... we had also bought another cake for my Sweetie. Guess we will never get tired of cakes. Yummy, yummy.
See their excitement to blow the flame off the candles.

Kpop "Hot Hot" Concert

The titles of some Kpop are so unique that they can be used in almost any situation. For example, you want to apologise, you sing"Sorry, sorry"; you want to hear more of something, you sing "Tell me", when no one wants anything, you sing "Nobody" etc. Well, you will be amazed that these songs are actually among the top of the chart weeks after weeks. That means practically everywhere you go, you can hear them.

A few occasions I sang the "Sorry, sorry" to my Cutie (for fun) when I accidentally stepped on her etc. Yesterday, my Cutie told me to sing the Korean "Hot, hot" song when it's hot and to sing the Korean "Cold, cold" song when it's cold. Korean songs? Haha... mummy just laughed.

Then she decided to hold a concert for her "Hot, hot" song with my Sweetie.

Here presenting to you the first release of the latest kpop "Hot, hot" song (compose & music: Cutie).

Did you hear my Sweetie calling it quit and asked me to "put back" the guitar? Now, I got another role of being their concert manager? Mummy had better asked for a raise from Daddy, gee...
