What a Coincidence!

My Cutie came to me and told me that the picture on the big jigsaw puzzle is the same as that on her book.

So she hurried to bring her book over and showed me. Mummy got a big shock cos' the pictures are not just identical, but exactly the same (tho' with slight modification and colours).

This is indeed amazing cos' we had actually bought the big jigsaw puzzle when we were in Korea whereas we had recently bought the book (there are many pictures in it) . This was indeed a great coincidence and it is really smart of this Cutie to even have noticed it, hee...

Groom My Room

No, we did not participate in the television program "Groom My Room".

However, the program did, in some way, inspire Mummy and Daddy to prepare a lovely room for our little princesses.

It was quite a challenge as we have to rack our brains for ideas and also headaches of having too much stuff for display in the room (haha... thanks to having a shopaholic mom).
Had originally planned for a disney princess theme, but found that it will be too overwhelming with so many of our Hello Kitty stuff.

Had also wanted to get those princess/bus design double-decker bed for my darlings, but worried that it's too dangerous for my little Cutie to sleep on the upper deck.

Finally, we settled for this Ikea Kura bed which is a better choice as the lower deck was not raised. With Mummy still worried for my Cutie's safety, we also placed a bed rail and many soft toys round the edge of the bed, hee...

My darlings simply love the makeover. They are glad to have a room that is specially desinged for them.

The makeover has also been a great help to get my little Sweetie to transit to sleep on her own.

We had tried to get this Sweetie to sleep on her own by placing her mattress next to our bed. But this little baby who had been so used to sleeping next to me, had been tossing and turning every night. As she didn't sleep well, she ended up falling asleep in class during one of the days, hee...

Amazingly with the new bed and makeover, she manages to sleep well through the night (even tho' her bed was farther away from our bed).

Hee....so now what's next? Groom our house?

Singing with Passion

Last week, while on our way home, my Cutie started to sing the new song that she learned in school.

Mummy can't believe what I see. On the chorus part where she sang "Jesus, you're my Savior....", she sang with so much passion, with both eyes closed and outstretched hands.

She must have learned it from her teachers in school.

If you listen attentively, you can hear my Sweetie singing a short version of the song "Sing" by the Karen Carpenter at the beginning, followed by a mixture of her own song creation, hee...

Happy National Day

It's Singapore 45th birthday and for the 1st time, my darlings got to watch the National Day Parade on television. As usual, they got to wear red and white combination attire to school. My little Sweetie decided to add a touch of Minnie Mouse to her outfit. So sweet.

Recently, they were both so madly in love with the scissors that they will want to do the cuttings whenever they could find time to (their scissors are readily within their reach for them to cut anything and they would always ask for permission when they want to use it).

Since they love to cut so much, Mummy got them to cut out the various words, pictures from brochures, magazines etc. After which, we arranged and glued them to form a collage.

You may wonder why there were 3 little bears in the collage, hee... cos' it's inclusive of our doggie as shown on the left.

Happy Birthday, Singapore.
