Fun with Colours

Last week, one of the activities that Mummy had with my darlings was to colour their names - just only colouring and nothing else. Guess what, my girls have really surprised me with more than what Mummy had planned for.

First, look at their choice of colours. The colours blended well and the artworks were very colourful. My Cutie could even thought of just shadowing rather than colouring the whole letters for some (that's quite artistic in Mummy's view). For my Sweetie, Mummy is so proud of her at 2 years old, to be able to colour within the letters' boundaries.

Next was my Cutie's idea of drawing of people around her name. Mummy was also surprised by my Sweetie's creativity to draw eyes and mouths for her letters. (See videos below)

It all started with a simple colouring activity, but it helps Mummy to realise that my darlings have really grown up now, to see that they can achieve a lot of things on their own now.

Mummy is so proud of them.

But in Mummy's eyes, both of them will forever be my little babies.

Happy 4th birthday, Cutie

Time flies, now my Cutie is 4 years old.

Guess what mummy made for my Cutie's birthday celebrations in school yesterday.

Yes, it's the Sesame Street cupcakes.

It was actually a change of our original plan as her classmate who was born on the same day, would also like to have her celebration in school on the same day. It would thus be too overwhelming to have 2 birthday cakes for everyone, so Mummy decided to bake the cupcakes so that her friends can take them home.

When her classmates saw the cupcakes, they were very excited (haha.. cos' of Elmo). But they kept on wondering why they only get to see and not to eat after singing the birthday song (seeing that we packed them away individually). Gee...

For my Cutie, she had been very excited for this big day - she had been taking charge of choosing the design of her goodies bag to packing the stuff into her goodies bags (with her MeiMei).

After school, we went to The Icing Room to get a plain cake with icing. Then my darlings had a fun time being the chefs - decorating and adding designs on the cake. Surprisingly, the other birthday girl was there too. Haha... guess what, then we bumped into them again at Swensen's. 3 great coincidences, isn't that amazing!

For my little princess, she was all smiles and had an enjoyable day. At the end of the day, she even asked mummy when will her 5th birthday be. So cute.

Happy 4th Birthday, Cutie.
