Realised that I have too many posts to update and ended up just keep delaying updating.  So I will try to update the latest.  For the backlog, I will try to update when I'm free and then I will leave a message on the latest post if I had updated any old posts.

Classic - sisterly love and promises of my darlings

Found this draft in my blog and I had actually intended to post it in 2012!

I like the photo which I had taken when we were on the bus then.  So sweet, love it.

Here's the promise they had made in 2012,  I will show it to them when I grow old, hee...

SG50 Lego Fun

Received the SG50 Lego, so mobilised my darlings to help to build the structures of the Gardens by the Bay and the Changi International Airport.  Actually, they are already 'experts' in Lego building with so many Lego toys of their own.  It was thus not difficult at all for them to build the SG50 models.

After that, we decided to add our own Lego set to enhance what we had built.  The photos do not really do justice to the original.  If you look closer, you will notice that 'glass' panels are being used in our creative designs.

So what do you think of our SG50 Lego design?

Koalmania at Singapore Zoo

It's been a long time since I blogged.

At least, late than never, right?

Well, guess who.

Today, I brought my darlings to the Singapore Zoo after school.  We had not been to the zoo for a while (since last year).  We went there to see the four koalas that are available for public viewing starting from yesterday.

Koala: How did she climb
so high up?
Although the Koala Enclosure was not very big, it was a pleasure to be able to see the four cute little furry creatures at close range.  Still can remember our tour to Melbourne then to see the Koalas.  We were not able to 'see' them as they were all high up on the eucalyptus trees.  At least, here we could see them well, hee... as the highest they could go is just a few metres above ground.  We had managed to capture a few good shots of them, although at times they seemed to be 'camera-shy'.

Arrgh....aren't they cute?

We loved the part where one of the koalas went to hug a smaller one nearby. My Cutie said she was the bigger sized koala (indicating she was hugging my Sweetie).  So sweet.

My darlings were both busy capturing them on their camera phones.  Yes, they are no longer little babies and they have their own phones.

As the zoo closed at 6pm, we did not get to tour the whole place.  Though we only spent a few hours at the zoo, we had managed to go round seeing other animals and the various shows.  We had seen quite a number of animals like the white tigers, orang utans, komodo dragons, wallabies, goats and most importantly, our four marsupial friends - Shan, Idalia, Paddle and Pellita.  Do keep your fingers crossed and pray that they will stay permanently at the zoo.
